Hokusan Tea Canada

Hokusan Tea Canada is an award-winning wholesale tea supplier, working closely with cafés and restaurants across Canada. We are currently looking for a “Warehouse Assistant” to support our warehouse operations, shipping, and inventory management.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and on time
- Receive incoming shipments and organize inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Manage inventory and assist with stock counts
- Prepare products for distribution and events as needed
- Coordinate with team members, drivers, and office staff


Qualifications & Requirements

- Highly motivated, energetic, multitasking and responsible
- High standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and product care
- Detail-oriented, especially with order packing and product handling
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Flexible, punctual, and adaptable in a changing work environment
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including seasonal temperature changes
- Physically able to lift and carry items up to 44 lbs. (20 kg) independently
- Canadian permanent resident or holder of a valid work visa with at least 18 month remaining
- Valid Canadian driver’s license in Ontario is an asset.

Work Schedule

- 2-3 days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Start time: 9:00 AM
- Shift length: Approximately 3–5 hours per day

(Hours may vary depending on order volume and daily tasks)

$17.60 per hour

•⁠ ⁠英語でのコミュニケーションに抵抗がない方
•⁠ ⁠倉庫環境（季節による温度変化あり）での勤務に抵抗がない方
•⁠ ⁠最大20kg（約44ポンド）までの荷物を単独で持ち運べる方
•⁠ ⁠カナダ永住権保持者、または有効な就労ビザを保有し、残存期間が18か月以上ある方

Main Duties:
• Taking orders and serving customers
• Handling dine-in and takeout orders
• Keeping the dining area clean

Requirements:
• English communication
• Restaurant experience is preferred, but not required

Pay:
Ontario minimum wage + tips
Vacation pay and public holiday pay provided according to Ontario ESA
