Pay: CA$18.00-CA$22.00 per hour + TIP
Job description:
We are a Japanese-inspired snack bar specializing in yoshoku cuisine and elevated cocktails, and we’re seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team. We are currently looking for an experienced cook to work 2–3 days per week.
Our hours of operation are six days a week, from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and we are closed on Mondays.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Minimum 1+ years professional kitchen experience (preferably in Japanese, Yoshoku, or fusion cuisine)
-Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques, and flavour profiles
-Ability to execute consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
-Skilled in menu development, prep, and plating with creativity and attention to detail
-Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-Ability to train, support, and collaborate with kitchen staff
-Passion for innovation and elevating casual Japanese-inspired dining
-Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
-Food Safe and Work Permit are necessities
Compensation will be based on experience level.
