Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our small friendly team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
Experience
Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$22.91 per hour
