【About Northern Cafe】
Northern Cafe is an award-winning, family-owned restaurant known for homemade comfort food, hearty breakfasts, delicious brunch dishes, and a unique combination of Western and Asian flavours.
We're looking for an experienced Line Cook who takes pride in preparing great food and working with a supportive team.
Our kitchen is a busy, hands-on environment where teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail matter.

【Position Details】
・Position: Line Cook
・Location: 1640 East Kent Avenue South, Vancouver, BC
・Employment: Full-time / Part-time
・Hourly Wage: $19.00–24.00 + shared tips
・Pay is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and cooking skills.
・Schedule: Specific days and hours to be discussed during hiring.
【Responsibilities】
・Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes according to Northern Cafe's recipes and standards.
・Manage your cooking station efficiently during busy service hours.
・Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
・Assist with daily food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and portioning.
・Maintain proper food storage, rotation, and kitchen organization.
・Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
・Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
・Assist with kitchen opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
【Qualifications】
・Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a professional restaurant kitchen is required.
・Breakfast or brunch cooking experience is an asset.
・Experience with Western or Asian-inspired cuisine is an asset.
・Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
・Strong organizational and time-management skills.
・Able to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
・Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
・Willingness to learn and improve cooking skills.
・Legally authorized to work in Canada.
