Hello Nori Richmond is looking for reliable, motivated, and positive individuals to join our kitchen team. As we serve each hand roll directly to guests at the counter, we are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and comfortable communicating with customers. This is a great opportunity to develop kitchen skills, learn Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation, and grow with our team.
Location: Richmond Centre
Job Type: Line Cook (Part-time)
Wage: $18.25/hour plus gratuity (averagely $10-12/hour)
Staff meal provided
2-4days per week
Morning: 6-8hours between 9:00～17:00
Night: 6-8hours between 16:00～24:00
Responsibilities
• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to Hello Nori standards, including cutting fish and preparing vegetables.
• Maintain food quality and presentation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate and work closely with other kitchen team members
What We’re Looking For
• Able to multitask and work efficiently at a fast pace
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Sushi or Japanese kitchen experience is an asset (not required)
