できるだけ早く婚姻届を受理してもらう方法

日本人同士で付き合っており結婚が決定しました。
大使館に婚姻届を提出しようと思っているのですが、その場合大体どのくらいの期間で受理され結婚証明書が発行されますか？
奥さんのビザがもうすぐ切れそうで、ブリッジワークパーミットを発行してもらうにはビザが切れる前にスポーンサーシップの提出が必要なのでできるだけ早く書類を揃えたいと思っています。
両親に委任して市役所に婚姻届をもらったほうが手早く書類が揃えられますか？

ブリッジというか、「Open work permit: Applying as a sponsored spouse or common-law partner in Canada」の方ですよね
この部分読んでいらっしゃいます？
スポンサー申請すれば良いという感じではないと思いますが、、、

領事館で婚姻届けを出す際には戸籍謄本の提示が必要では無かったですか？
私たち夫婦はそのとりよせに時間が掛かるため、
日本に帰国して日本で届け出しました。
ちなみに短期の滞在だったので、婚姻の証明書発行には間に合わず、
役所で届け出受理された時の「婚姻届け受理証明書」を英訳してカナダに提出し、
ワークビザ更新や移民申請に使用しました。（移民申請は後日、婚姻証明書を提出）
戸籍謄本が必要無ければ、領事館でもその日に受領証明書がもらえるかも？
私の経験は少し前の話なので、正確にはご自身で問い合わせを。

カナダに先に届けて、日本に届ける。結婚日付けは同じ日を使う。
姓名を変える人は姓名変更届を全ての機関に届ける。
