トロントに住んでいる30歳の男性です。現在は独身ですが、そろそろ婚活を始めて、将来的には結婚したいと考えています。しかし、最近知ったのですが、もし結婚生活がうまくいかず、離婚に至った場合、オンタリオ州では、BC州や日本と違って婚前財産も折半されるそうです（matriomonial home に使った場合）。
僕はカナダに長く住んでおり、幸運にも高収入の職業に就いていて、資産は1ミリオン近くあります。お金持ちというわけではありませんが、苦労して貯めたお金なので、万が一婚姻が破綻した際に婚前財産が折半されるのは避けたいと考えています。そこで、プリナップを検討しています。カナダでは一般的ですが、相手が日本人の場合、理解してもらえるのでしょうか？

作っておいた方が揉めないとは思うが、結婚前の財産は折半対象じゃないですよ、オンタリオも。

しかしながら、婚姻前に取得した不動産でも「住んでいる期間」に値上がり（もしくは値下がり）した部分のみは折半対象です。投資してる株などもそうですね。

財産の殆どがトロントやバンクーバーの場合 家だとすると、 結婚する時に家が有る場合や無い場合も有るだろうし、家が有る場合でもモーゲジを借り始めたか、途中だと思うので、全額払い込んで居る人はまれだと思う。其処で結婚後に払い込みしたペイメントは例え１人が払おうとも普通は夫婦の収入から払い込まれたと考えると思う。当然その場合は(半々では無いけども )２分する(部分)が出て来る。給料が多少高くても何れにしても１人が家を所持続ける事は出来ないだろうと考える冪。その他に。。。考える事 年金、子供、etc. etc.

作っておいた方が揉めないと思うし、それが嫌な人はあなたと結婚しなくていいと思う。
私は内容によると思います。
内容的に”財産は折半しない”だけだとなんだか嫌です。
でもそこに離婚する時のサポートの内容とか、財産の分け方とか、子供ができた場合のこととか、契約の有効期限（１０年続いたら契約は破棄する）とか記載されてあるフェアな内容なら普通だと思います。

プリナップを否定的に捉える必要はないと思います。
お互いの資産を守る手段ですし、彼女だって自分の資産守れるし。子どもができて離婚すれば養育費だ何だってかなり取られますから自己資産だけでも守りましょう。
