A private lower-floor room is available now. Shared laundry, kitchen, and washroom. Kitchen has stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, pots/frying pans/cutlery/plates/cups/glasses. Room has a double bed/linens, closet, two bedside drawer units, desk, chair, and a keyed entry.
Must be clean, quiet, respectful to others in the home, and willing to share in keeping the shared area clean. Single person occupancy only. All current residents are clean, quiet, friendly, and respectful.
Female Japanese foreign students given preference as one upstairs resident is a young lady.
Will need references or in case of foreign student, proof of student status at some educational institute.
No pets, no drugs, no smoking/vaping, no partying, no overnight guests. Social drinking is fine.
Queensborough is a quiet and safe residential area. The bus stops right in front of the house and upon crossing the Queensborough bridge (5-minute trip) it stops at the 22nd Street Skytrain station, so the house is conveniently located for travel anywhere in the metro area.
The Queensborough Landing shopping center – 5 blocks away - is large with 25 or more stores including a Walmart, a soon-to-open Foody World large grocery store, banking, fast food, post office, clothing, etc.
