KITCHEN & COUNTER HELPER FOR A FOOD TRUCK
Vancouver's ORIGINAL Food Truck is looking for a few great people to join our team!
Being on the road with the restrictions being lifted we need to add staff.
We are looking for a part-time & on-call staff with great customer service skills and experience in the food service industry.
Job Types:
- Full-time, Part-time
- Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
- Flexible schedule: weekdays, weekends, afternoons, and evenings.
- Shift work
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Payment:
- Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay
- We negotiate based on experience. Additionally, we are very passionate about giving our employees a wage increase based on performance.
Work Location:
- On the road
- Willingness to travel 100% (preferred)
Language:
- French not required
- How many languages can you speak?
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- FoodSafe (preferred)

- Prep experience
- Able to prep and on the line
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to lift to 50 pounds
- Comfortable in a small environment (Food Truck)
- You are detail-oriented, clean, and organized

- You have a great personality and can shine in front of customers, just as much as you shine on the line
- You can think on your feet and troubleshoot difficult scenarios
- Work with talented staff who are enthusiastic, fun-loving, and hard-working people to serve our products to hungry customers featuring both vegetarian & vegan dishes.
- Before applying the candidate should know food preparation.
You have at least 1 year of experience working in a busy kitchen, preferably on the line, and are comfortable with fast-paced service.
