We live in a large house in Pitt Meadows, BC, which is a small city in the Lower Mainland, near Vancouver - 46 minutes to Downtown Vancouver by Train.

We are now looking for “International Students”, or “Visitors/Traveller’s” who would like to stay with us and make our place home. We also live in the House with our students and ensure that everything is always very clean, tidy, organised, safe and make sure that every student has everything that they need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We have a few Bedrooms that we rent out.

We live in a very quiet neighbourhood in Pitt Meadows that is close to transit (Bus and Train), including the “Westcoast Express Train”, which takes you to the heart of downtown Vancouver in less than an hour. We are walking distance to shopping mall, cafe, restaurants, fruit and vegetable shops, movie cinema, pharmacy, dentists and doctors.

We are located only 1.3 km away to the “Westcoast Express” Train Station in Pitt Meadows going to Downtown Vancouver or to Mission. We are also only 1.0 km away to the Bus Stop for the bus going to the Coquitlam Central Skytrain Station. The Skytrain goes from the Coquitlam Central Station to the Waterfront Train Station.

Train to get to Downtown Vancouver & To YOUR SCHOOL:
We have a really good train option for you - Direct Train - "Westcoast Express Train" - that goes from our place in Pitt Meadows to Downtown Vancouver.

Train Leaves Pitt Meadows at 7:24 am.
Train Arrives Waterfront Train Station (End Train Station In Vancouver) at 8:10 am.

You can walk from the Waterfront Train Station to Downtown Vancouver to all of the sights, Canada Place, Stanley Park and Gastown.

There are several different trains going into the city in the mornings and returning back in the afternoons.

The House:
Bathrooms, Kitchen and Laundry is shared, along with the common areas of the house.
 
The Bedrooms:
These rooms are recently beautifully newly renovated and fully furnished.  The prices above include fully “Furnished Rooms” with all utilities, new furniture, new beds, all new bedding, sheets, mattress protectors, pillows and linen & towels included.
 
House & Bedroom Security:
The house has several outside sensor lights and also has 6X outside yard cameras with alarms to provide safety and security.

The front entrance door has a digital / fingerprint door lock for security.

All bedrooms also have a digital smart door lock with fingerprint and passwords to provide extra security and safety for each bedroom.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT - “TO BOOK & CONFIRM”:

“2 Weeks Rent Deposit” – A receipt will be emailed to you.

Cancellation Policy For Reservation Deposit     
Cancellation 30 Days or Greater from your Check-In Date, you will receive a “50% Refund of your Reservation Deposit”.  Less than 30 Days Cancellation Notice will result in a “100% Loss of the Reservation Deposit”.

Deposit Due  
As soon as possible.

Payment of Deposit                       
You can pay the “Reservation Deposit” with your Credit Card.  I will email a “Reservation Deposit Invoice” to you to pay with your Credit Card.

Credit Card Fee                               
There is a 3.5% Credit Card Fee.

NOTE:  Your Room is not “BOOKED” or “CONFIRMED” until you have Paid the “Reservation Deposit”.

Deposit Refundable   
At the End of your Stay, less any property damage charges, charges for any missing or broken items or unpaid rent.

About Us:
We are a professional couple in the 50’s who live in the house. We are non smokers, no drugs and we do not have any pets. We are very friendly, clean, kind and caring people. I am New Zealander, Canadian, German who speaks fluent English and German. My partner, Mary is from New Zealand and China and she speaks English and Mandarin.
By the way, Mary cook’s incredible, very delicious Chinese food.

Shared Areas:
You would have access to the outside upstairs large balcony - great for enjoying the evenings with a drink after a hot sunny day.

Upstairs you would have access to the kitchen, separate dining room, large living room and main bathroom with a toilet, sink and a shower above the bathtub.

Kitchen has a brand new very nice KitchenAid gas stove and new Bosch dishwasher.

Downstairs, you are welcome to use the bathroom with a toilet, sink and a large separate shower, when it is available and the laundry - with a large new washing machine and a large new dryer.

The house has very fast / high speed Wifi (1.5 GB), and also has Amazon Prime and Disney Plus+.

There is a large downstairs patio area, great for sitting, relaxing and enjoying the garden in your spare time.

There’s a very large fully fenced mostly private backyard to enjoy.

House Rules:
Our home is a quiet, no partying home where we enjoy our peaceful back yard and friendly safe neighbourhood. Strictly no smoking or vaping, no pot, no drugs and no pets.
No visitors allowed to stay overnight, without prior permission.

We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our home with others has been something we have been doing for several years now….

MEALS:

AIRPORT PICKUP:
Airport (YVR) with meet and greet service is $100. If you require a Pickup or Drop-Off, please let us know?
