当方初めてのことなので教えてください。

エアカナダで日本に一時帰国をする予定です。
帰りに炊飯器か掃除機を持って帰りたいのですが、これらは手荷物のほうがいいですよね？
恐らく掃除機を持って帰るほうが濃厚なのですが、追加料金を払えば大丈夫でしょうか？

一時帰国自体もう7年振りでして、不安しかないです。
ぜひ教えてください。
