First, I’d like to intorduce myself.
My name is eiko. I am from Tokyo. I have been in canada for about three month to leaen English. That was my very first long stay in abroad. Off course I enjoyed it very much.
I hope I’ll go back to Canada in the future. So, I have to earn a lot of money.

So, I just stay at home. First of all, I want to know where you had stayed in. Hopefully, you will response this!

You know, I always think living in Vancouver is so unique. I don’t think we can find a restaurant that serves Sushi and Katsu don in Japan.
Whenever I go to ”Sushi ya” in Japan, I have craving for ”Nabeyaki Udon” but I can never get it in there and my friends laugh at me that I am ”hen”

I like my host family. They asked me it I wanna stay with them in next semester today. I said ”of course” , but he just said ” let me think about it” . what does it mean?? he is not going to let me stay here any more? I think Japanese say ” let me think about it ” when they do not want to say ” no”. Do you think it is the same with this??

I think that your guess is right..., which means ”to let me think about it” would be ”Chotto kangaete miru ne” or something like that. If you want to stay in your house more, I think it would be good for you to ask him again. Anyway, Good luck, and have a wonderful long weekend!

Probably, he did not expect your answer, and he may have some other matter to deal with, such as having his relative or friends over in summer. Then, he was hoping he would have your room back as a spare bedroom.
This is my guess.

I wanna join you. Can I ask you a question? I’m having a Sushi party next weekend.
Where do you think I can get fresh sea food for a reasonable place? I’m going to Granville Island Market. Do you know any else idea?
I hope someone reply this soon.
