You are correct however it is perfectly normal and common to say ”your cooking is delicious”. The reason for this is that you are complimenting the person on the way they cook the food and the food. It is a good compliment.

Cooking can be used as a verb and also to represent the food that is prepared by someone. for example:
My friend is a good cook = My friend’s cooking is good/delicious/great etc.

You are correct because it is also common to say your food is delicious, your cooking is good, your food tastes great.

1)Are you meaning ”in THE future” or ”in future”? well,
Generally, if you use ”the future”, it can mean further away and less known, for example:
@I hope that there are no wars ”in the future”

”In future” is more close in time and reality for example:
@”In future”, please pay your bills on time”

But in many sentences, there is no real difference in the two meanings.

2)If you are questioning the phrase below, there is no problem with using ”in the future” or”in future”

{Your cooking is delicious, but I cannot eat so much. Could I possibly have smaller servings in (the) future.}

However,あ〜あさん please let me know your thoughts on this.

”I don’t mind YOU cooking in my kitchen” This means that I dont mind that you are using my kitchen to cook food.

”I (observe, study..etc) your cooking.” means that I am watching you cook food.

HOWEVER,
”Your cooking” can also mean ”the food that you cooked”

SO ”you cooking” means ”you cooking food”
