Revenge is usually used as a noun: He wanted to get revenge on her. This means he wanted to do something bad TO HER, because she did something bad to him.
Avenge is always used as a verb: He wanted to avenge his father’s death. This means he wanted to do something to someone (we don’t know who) because his father was killed. Be careful! ’He wanted to avenge her.’ does NOT mean she did something bad. It means she was the victim.
The difference between ’lots of’ and ’a lot of’ is not really grammatical. The original English is ’a lot of’, but ’lots of’ has become commonly accepted. ’Lots of’ is a little bit more casual, because it is not truly correct English.
The difference between rent and lend is easy. If you rent something, MONEY is paid to use something temporarily. If you lend something, NO MONEY is paid to use something temporarily.
