歌の歌詞の中で、女が男達に向かって
you can not hold us down といってるのがありますがこれはなんといういみでしょうか？

クリスティーナ　アングリア？でしたっけ？

男たちに向かって”うちらを抑えつけるな！”って言ってるんだと思うけど。カナダ人に昔聞いたら、アメリカの黒人のスラングはわからんって言ってた。まぁ、じいちゃんに聞いたのが悪かったかにゃ。

ちょっと長いけどこれが歌詞です。参考になるんじゃないかな。

ごめんごめん
こっちの名前はホンとおぼえらんないんだよ〜。まぁ、許してよ。 　

「You can’t hold us down」はこの場合、「私達を娼婦呼ばわれして、押さえつけようなんてさせない！」っていう意味です。

男はたくさんの女性と付き合っていても、それがまるでかっこいいと見なされるけど、女が同じことするとすぐみんなに「Slut」とか「Whore」って呼ばれる。これはおかしい、女も普通に男遊びしてもいいはずっていう歌なんだけど、なんか根本的に曲のモラルが間違ってるような・・・
Christinaはデビュー当時、かわいいポップ・シンガーって言われてたけど、今はもう「頭の悪いストリッパー」って呼ばれてるし。ラテンの血が強すぎて脱ぎたくってしょうがないんだろうねってまで言われてるし。

女も普通に男遊びしてもいいはずっていうことが言いたいんじゃなくて、女性が男性と同じことをしても「slut」とか「whore」と言われるのはおかしい、女性も男性と同じ権利があるってことを言ってるんだと思うんですが…。
beautifulの曲にしてもこの曲にしても、彼女の歌を聞いて、私は、彼女が頭が悪いとは思えないです。いつまでも可愛い子よりは、格好いい今の彼女が魅力的だと思うけど。
