Well what ever the nationality of Catherine is it shows how simple minded you guys are! To be Canadian does not mean you have to be born here you can choose to be Canadian too this shows that still Japanese people are nationalistic and think that if someone is not Canadian they can not ask a question even though they are Korean or chinese!
