I don't like to leave negative reviews but I did not have a enjoyable experience at koyuki. We came in like many others hungry and too impatient for the line at ramen danbo but if I have one regret in life it would be me not waiting for the delicious ramen danbo next door which i'm sure the manager/owners of Koyuki count on. I ordered a bunch of small plates including the kimchee and the gomaee, the gomaee I could barley hold down. whatever you do do not order the gomaee I would be quite surprised if they used fresh vegetables. we also ordered ebi fry which had for shrimp finger type things they were ok. We're they worth 12$? I don't think so. also why put the spicy mayonnaise on the side salad I want to dunk shrimp in spicy mayonnaise like the degenerate I am, why dress it up in a salad I normally throw away. We also had the pumpkin croquette which was on the cusp of something good just needed curry powder or a side of okonomyaki sauce just to be clear the croquettes did come with okonomyaki sauce they were just tossed in a waste your time salad. Another thing there was a foodora delivery guy cussing out a waiter for not getting his gyoza then a guy walked in with a bag of frozen gyoza from what I hope is tnt super market for maximim profit margin. The ramen was one note, I feel like I didn't miss anything by not ordering it and ramen is one of my favourite foods of all time. One of the last plates I got was the kimchi which came in a softball sized chunk it was so big there's no way I could have finished it.
Tldr kayuki has a problem with fresh ingredients it's a mediocre restaurant with premium prices go anywhere else
