I read a hell of a lot of books on JFK. Today I got a good book written by Chuck Giancanna. He is the godson and the brother of mob boss Sam Giancana. Sam solicited professinal killers from several quarters. Killers,the guys said,were required to be "top-notch marksem": tow of Marcello’s men, Chrales Harrelson and Jack Lawrence,as well as two of Trafficante’s Cuban exile "friends."Check this! Charles and Lawrence killed JFK. On top of that, both Cain and Nicoletti were actual gumnen for the hit, being placed at opposite ends of the Dallas Book Depostitory, In fact, he asserted it was Cain, not Oswald, who’d actually fired from the infamous sixth-story window. These are not fatal shots. Sam also alledged that the CIA had added several of their own "soldiers’ to the team, using Roscoe White and J.C. Tippit as the actual gunmen--along with Frank Fiorini and Lee Harvey Oswald,the man Sam said they intended to frame as the lone assassin. I believe that two guys killed JFK.
