SALARY: $16.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience 40.00 Hours per week Shirt work, weekends, on-call, Gratuities, lift pass, food discount, merchant discount, staff accommodation provided, and month off in between season (November / May optional).
LOCATION: Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta Remote location, physical address is: NE1/4 Section 24, Township, Range 4, West of the 5th Meridian Lot 1. [Approximately ½ hour west & south of Pincher Creek, AB on Hwy 774]
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Housekeeping Department in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service and a clean and safe environment throughout their stay.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid work visa to work in Canada.
Inspects rooms daily
Control minutes per room per housekeeper without effecting quality
Motivate, train, counsel and discipline staff
Ensure all guest safety and security
Communicates with all members of management
Schedules and supervises all deep cleaning programs
Maintains proper inventory of all linen, supplies etc.
Manage and organize large turn days which includes group check ins/outs
Resolve any room discrepancies with the property room status reports
Conducts pre-shift meetings with staff
Monitor out of order rooms daily
Must maintain constant communication with the Front Desk and Maintenance.
Goal is to exceed Quality Inspections, Create great feeling for our guests staying of warmth and excellent service in our entire housekeeping department
The ability to respond properly and take a supervisory role in any emergency or safety situation.
Manage all administrational duties as specified by the General Manager.
APPLICABLE SKILLS:
At least 2 years housekeeper experience.
Demonstrated supervisor skills; good judgment and common sense.
Hands on, goal oriented, team leader
Superior written and oral communication skills in the English language.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self and others.
TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL INFORMATION:
Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available
ACCOMODATION:
Shared Staff accommodation provided, Rural community, Remote location, Willing to relocate
