Job Title: General Accountant (Japanese Speaking)
Employer: a well-established manufacturer Job Status: Permanent Full Time Job Location: Near London, Ontario
Compensation: $40,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:
- Fully Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Must have minimum one year progressive Accounting experience
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field required
- Working toward Professional Accounting designation is an asset
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Duties and Responsibilities
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Coordination of AR and AP
- Monthly financial statement preparation
- Assisting to prepare annual budget and maintaining monthly audit working papers
- Financial analysis of manufacturing costs and identification of variances between estimated and actual production costs
- Providing translation of accounting documents of high complexity from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in a professional manner
