Travel & Lifestyle Services delivers exclusive benefits and superior travel and concierge services to card members. The role of a consultant is to service our premium card holder requests. The role of the team is to make every customer’s experience extraordinary. We are looking for Travel & Lifestyle Consultants to join our Toronto-based team servicing Japanese customers.
As a Travel & Lifestyle Consultant you will:
• Provide extraordinary customer experience to our premium card members in a customer
contact center environment.
• Arrange Japan domestic and international travel for our premium card members including air
tickets, accommodation, Car Rental.
• Provide advice, solutions and booking of dining experience.
• Source Tickets for theatre/opera/sporting events.
• Arrange Flowers, limousine transfers, gift and all other lifestyle related services and products.
Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
• Native Level Japanese language skill both oral and written is essential and will be tested
during the hiring process
• Strong knowledge of luxury travel, fine dining, theatre, premium retail products and services,
fashion, sports and exclusive events
• Hospitality industry (i.e. travel, hotel, restaurant) background is preferred
• Strong proficiency with PC and internet research Verbal and written communication skills
• Must be an excellent team player and focused on achieving team goals
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to identify and fulfill customer needs in a time critical manner
• Flexibility to work shifts including statutory holidays.
• Hours of operation and/or shift-schedule may change due to business need.
• Must have valid work status in Canada
