Business Development - Client Relations – Bilingual (Japanese)

Named one of Deloitte Technology Fast 50’s ‘Companies to Watch’ in 2011, Mobiroo is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Canada and has recently expanded its product line to launch its latest product - Mobiroo Android App Subscriptions - the first 'All-You-Can-App' subscription service for Android. Netflix does video. Spotify does music. Now, Mobiroo is doing it for apps, launching in 10+ countries this year. Unlimited downloads, hundreds of top paid apps, one subscription.

Mobiroo is looking for a Business Developer who is dynamic, energetic, dedicated and a motivated individual to become a core member of our team to help grow and expand Mobiroo globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive the full sales cycle from first contact (cold calling / emailing) with mobile app developers
• Research and develop new opportunities to build long-term strategic relationships with Android mobile app developers, perform competitive analysis, and implement the findings into actionable items
• Daily account management and support to ensure publisher happiness with products, monetization, distribution, etc.
• Define the policies for processing, publishing, and maintaining digital content
• Work with multiple internal teams to define Android app compatibility requirements
• Liaise with channel partners based in Japan on a regular basis, will require work outside of office hours
• Execute market research campaigns and competitive analysis, and implement the findings into actionable items
• Create client proposals, pitch decks and other workflow documentation as required
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, companies, and opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong fluency in both English and Japanese, written and oral
• 1-3 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, Telecom and/or related fields
• Undergraduate in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields
• Experience with launching, managing, and executing marketing or sales campaigns an asset
• Knowledge of the mobile space, apps and the general tech industry

SKILLS
• Very strong language skills (both English and Japanese)
• Very strong computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Very strong business acumen; firm detailed, solution driver with attention to detail
• Strong sales funnel and relationship building mentality
• High-energy, self-starter with strong interpersonal, leadership and team building skills
