Major Responsibilities:
- Assist Manager to set roles and responsibilities for the department (present and future);
- Assist Manager to set roles and responsibilities for the associates within the department;
- Coordinate/Develop the department Business Plan and allocate the necessary resources;
- Coordinate/Develop QA associates abilities to perform their job;
- Supervise progress of QA associates work and provide necessary feedback;
- Interview and recommend new hires for the department;
- Set agenda/objective for quarterly “Quality Analysis Team” meeting;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline;
- 5+ years experience in automotive setting;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Good leadership skills;
- Fluently bilingual with English and Japanese;
- Ability to communicate with all levels of Associates and outside contacts (Customer, Sister Companies, Other departments, Suppliers);
- Ability to work independently from general supervision;
- Excellent organization skills with ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access;
- Proficient knowledge of manufacturing process;
- Proficient knowledge of “Development to M/P” milestones.
