I mailed an application for a work permit last month and CIC returned all documents because I didn’t submit 2 passport size pictures. They also said I need them to apply for temporaly permit as well as work permit. Does anybody know why I need to apply for temporaly permit as well as work permit? The checklist and instruction didn’t say about 2 passport size pictures, so I am so confused. he work permit I have now will be expired in this september. Please help me.

I would recommend to call the CIC call center for detail. You need temporary permit usually because you are criminally or medically inadmissible to Canada. There might be an officer’s misunderstanding or confusion, but no one can explain about your particular case without looking to your immigration file.
