Oo Spa is a high-end Japanese-inspired spa and barbershop that offers a sanctuary for men and women where they can unwind, relax and experience the gold standard of Japanese beauty and wellness in a nature-influenced setting. The barbershop provides ultra-luxe Japanese-style grooming services, including haircuts, shaves, hand and foot repairs and shoeshine services, in a stylish and enjoyable environment dedicated to men. The day spa offers clients a holistic approach to beauty in achieving a balance between the mind, body and skin. It is catered to both men and women and offers high-end, natural Japanese skincare products which are from the Myufull line of products directly from Japan.

Experienced Barber/Stylist: Oo Spa is seeking an experienced Senior Barber/Stylist to join the team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of barber experience. Please note that this role will give you an opportunity to learn world famous traditional Japanese grooming practices. For candidates who wish to learn and elevate their skills, this is the opportunity for you. Please apply if you believe you are a fit candidate for the position, based on the requirements below. Oo Spa Standards:

Highly skilled and experienced with all hair styles and designs
Highly experienced with styling, cutting, trimming
Passionate about barber services and providing exceptional customer experience and service
Take initiative and build sincere relationships with customers
Understand and align with the standard of providing customers with the best possible experience, every single time they visit the spa
Ability to successfully receive approval from the Master Barber at Oo Spa
You are professional, reliable, and responsible
Ability to provide the level of service that is required at an upscale high-end establishment

Day to Day Operations:

Provide full Barber and styling services
Provide Japanese hair washing services while providing scalp, shoulder and neck massages
Provide "Headspa Treatments" - you will be trained on this Japanese service
Knowledge with techniques on proper facial shaving (steam machine and hot towel, straight blade)
Assist the customer with all skin care related product questions
Must be comfortable with doing multi-roles (scalp massage, neck massage, foot massage)
Recommend and up-sell services to assist guest in their beauty needs
Lead by example, in all aspects of the role
Understand and align with the culture and concept of the business model
Maintain the brand facility standards

Bonus:

Familiar with traditional Japanese spas and the philosophy of how services are provided to customers
Familiar with high end luxury client services
