◎仕事内容

- フロント
レジ、フレンドリーな接客、ハウス商品の説明、在庫管理、お客様のクレーム対応、商品のラベリング、商品管理、キャッシュアウト、快適なショッピングのための清掃、商品ラベル発行貼り付け、価格変更、商品のアップセル、商品のデモなど


- 寿司 / キッチン
食材、フレッシュパック、サラダ、寿司、刺身をプロダクションシートに従って準備、オンライン注文のための食材の準備、品質と一貫性を確保するため、レシピに従って食材を準備、調理済み商品にラベル、日付、カバーがされ品質と鮮度が管理されていることの確認、
商品の下ごしらえ、保管、回転、ストック、マーチャンダイジング、ウォークインフリーザー、クーラー、ストレージユニットなど、清潔で整理された衛生的なワークステーションの維持、オープニング、ミドル、クロージングの各業務を担当

ABURI Restaurants parent company to MIKU at Waterfront and MINAMI in Yaletown is looking for back-of-house team members to join our front of house, sushi and kitchen team for our newest retail concept ABURI MARKET located in West Vancouver.

Salary Range: $17-$35 per hour

Job Responsibilities
Sushi / Kitchen
Prepare food items, fresh pack, salad, sushi and sashimi in accordance to production sheets

Prepare food items for online ordering
Prepare food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency
Ensures that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered and monitored for quality and freshness, Monitor food level and replenish in a timely manner
Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising products
Comply with all health and safety measures including sanitation, weights and measures, and safe work practices
Maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary work station which includes walk in freezers, cooler and any storage units required for this position
Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensures accuracy of signs and pricing
Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership

General Clerk( front of house )
Job descriptions - Cashier, Friendly customer service, explain the house products, inventory, Taking care of customer complains, labeling products, merchandize, cash out, cleaning for a pleasant shopping experience, packing the products, price change, upselling the product, product demo.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

6-12 months experience in food industry
Excellent communications skills and willingness to learn
Thorough product knowledge required
Good understanding of food production and fundamental cooking techniques
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters
Strong work ethics and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who is willing to lead a team and have experience in the kitchen, in a fast-paced environment, and has a get-it-done attitude. Skilled in delivering speedy service. Knowledge of health and safety.

Job Responsibilities

Communicate with sales floor/back of house and kitchen staff regarding daily operations
Assisting store leadership in running and monitoring daily sales reports
Provide effective training for new employees
Keeps track of on-hand inventory and ensures that product is properly rotated.
Utilizing handheld device to keep track of on-hand inventory and recording shrink (damaged/spoiled goods)
Proper documentation and filing of all business-essential paperwork including but not limited to invoices, temperature control logs, cleaning and sanitation logs
Adhere to safety policies and regulations
Help oversee back of house with e-commerce orders
Ensure that all job duties adhere to Food Safety Protocols established by the company
Performs 30/60/90 day reviews for team members
Performs all potential duties that are assigned by store manager
Be able to maximize yields on fresh ingredients
Perform monthly inventory for perishable products
Ability to explain the end of month inventory
Job Requirements/Qualifications;
Seeking to hire a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
2-3 years of experience in a similar job role is required
First Aid Level 1 Preferred, Level 2 would be an asset
Ability to make decisive decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Standing, bending, twisting for up to 8 hours
Passion and desire to learn while providing outstanding customer service
Interest in Japanese culture or willingness to learn
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, multi-language skills considered and asset
Open availability (weekend availability a must)
