Hello! We are Pine Sushi Square, a local Japanese/sushi restaurant located in the heart of Capilano Mall, North Vancouver. We are looking for part timers who are interested in joining the team!

The following positions are available:
- Cashier
- Front Counter
- Kitchen Helper
- Kitchen Cook

Job Type: Part time (8-15 hours per week)
Salary: $15.65-$18.00

Responsibilities
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the restaurant and providing customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking both in store and phone orders - giving orders to customers and packing any take out orders
- Handle cash, debit card, and credit card transactions with customers using cash registers. Taking payments and being familiar with the POS system
- Keep the counter area clean and organized; restocking inventory such as beverages, lids, and papers, etc.
- Willing to be cross-trained and work on kitchen tasks when needed and assisting with any kitchen tasks - cleaning/washing dishes and maintaining kitchen/sushi equipment
- Maintain a fast speed of service, especially during rush times
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; teriyaki and tempura (be familiar with the Japanese cuisine)
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, prepare the ingredients to be used during orders
- Wash dishes, glassware and flatware, Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas; clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
