Kiku Wellness is a Japanese Zen Day Spa, Located near Skytrain Broadway-City Hall Station in Vancouver, BC. We offer an oasis of peace and tranquility with Japanese Zen philosophy and holistic approach.

We are looking for an experienced Spa Manager with 3 years minimum EXPERIENCE to oversee an upbeat, friendly, outgoing team in a fast-paced and growing clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have aesthetic/med spa management/sales knowledge and experience. They will also have exceptional customer service, management skills, and a desire to grow within a well-established and growing company.

The Spa manager adapts quickly, meets monthly goals, is motivated and motivates the team, and is a proactive team player. In addition, the manager reports to the Operation Manager and works closely to ensure the business’s success.


Responsibilities include:
●Management - Spa management involves overseeing all aspects of the spa to ensure that the business runs smoothly and provides an optimal experience for all guests. This includes tasks such as: Managing and organizing the staff. Overseeing the training of the staff so that everyone knows their jobs and roles. Oversee marketing and customer relationship management initiatives, Fill any non-specialised roles when employees are absent, Ensure we comply with all employment laws and safety regulations

●Daily Operations - Managed daily operations of the Spa, including administrative responsibilities and closing the Spa.

●Front Office - To ensure that the front office operated at optimum efficiency.

●Retail Sales - Create and implement a new Spa protocol, introduce new products for retail sales and provide innovative high-level customer service.

●Spa Services - Promote spa amenities, educate staff on available salon spa services and inform them of specific restrictions or requirements.

●Staff Service - Hire, lead, and develop a highly effective team of supervisors, therapists, and front desk staff.


Requirements and Qualifications:
●3+ Management and sales experience in the service/retail industry, preferably in the Spa Industry
●Customer Service Skills
●English Communication Skills
●Ability to identify problems and solve them appropriately
●Be a confident, proactive, adaptive leader. Sets the example for the team
●Adhere to all applicable local and BC spa compliance licensing laws and regulations related to the operation of the business.
●Knowledge of and compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to clinic employees.
●Be able to interact and communicate effectively with the team
Follows management's policies, procedures, and direction.
●Be able to use office equipment, including telephones, copier/printer, Microsoft Office and Apple Products.

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year with room to advance in compensation


Schedule:
* Day shift
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability


Working Hours:
May vary from 9am-8pm, Must be willing to work weekend shifts
