Crème de la Crumb Bakeshop & Catering is a local chain of bakeshop-cafes and catering kitchen. We serve both breakfast & lunch in all of our locations and specialize in gourmet pastries, sandwiches and coffee. We have five locations as well as offer catering services to many clients within the Greater Vancouver area.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our kitchen team!

Kitchen helper duties include:

- Assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads and platters for daily orders

- Packing and plating catering orders in a presentable fashion

- Preparing sauces and cutting vegetables and other ingredients for future production

- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment including dishwashing

- Following food safe guidelines

Applicants:

- Previous experience in a food preparation is a definite asset but not required

- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a time sensitive environment

ASSISTANT BAKER DUTIES

- mixing scones, loaves, muffins, bars, cookies, following baking steps and procedures precisely

- baking off cookies, croissants, muffins, and scones

- basic kitchen prep

- ensuring par levels and followed and bakery items are rotated

- maintaining a clean working space at all times

- maintaining quality control
