Chau Veggie Express is a plant-based modern Vietnamese inspired restaurant, located in East Vancouver and inside the Granville Island Public Market. We are a fast-paced restaurant that serves award-winning cuisine that combines traditional Vietnamese flavours with fresh produce.

We are searching for a talented Juice Maker to join our team. We are looking for someone who ideally has relevant experience, although not essential, and can deliver a consistently excellent product. Full training provided, day-time hours (evenings off!). Fixed Schedule: Currently Monday & Thursday, with potential to change to Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning

What You’ll Do:

The Juice Maker is ultimately responsible for the preparation of our new cold-pressed juice range, offering freshly pressed juices to our growing community. You will play a big role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Preparing produce as specified by recipes and set standards
Juicing produce to specified recipes and set standards
Safe operation and maintenance of juicing equipment
Maintaining inventory, stocking produce and other necessary supplies
Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food safety requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Cleaning and sanitation of work surfaces and equipment at the beginning and end of service
Preparation of CHAU drink recipes.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience preferred, but not necessary
Food safe level 1
Basic written and verbal communication
Accuracy and speed when completing tasks
Ability to follow directions and instructions
Detailed oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
Integrity and professionalism
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $16.00 per hour
