Cup And Bun Cafe is hiring an Barista/FOH/Baker for our cafe/grocer. We are looking for people with barista, customer service and/or baking experience. We are located on 3851 Hastings St, Burnaby.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have an ownership mindset. Don't be passive.
Execute coffee orders throughout the day
Organize and consolidate pastries sold throughout the day
Help with counter-service for pastries and coffee takeaway orders
Perform tasks for opening or closing duties
Meeting the needs of all guests through customer service and product knowledge
Stocking/restocking of all in-store products and goods
Cash handling and transactions
Help organize, wash and maintain dish-ware
General housekeeping and maintenance
Professionally and knowledgeably represent the company
Ensure customer satisfaction through de-escalation methods
Prevent or minimize waste
Perform opening or closing duties depending on scheduled shift

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work 3-5 days a week, weekend availability mandatory (non negotiable)
At least 1 year of experience as a barista/FOH
Baking experience is an asset
Ability to deescalate situations
Familiar with operating and troubleshooting POS
Ability to multitask and handle different priorities at once
Strong communication and organization skills
Collaborative, honest and dependable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
