Full Job Description

Early Childhood Educator
The Big Playhouse Childcare Inc. is looking for teachers to add to The Big Playhouse. Our playhouse is a childcare center which offers full time and part time care to families in South Vancouver Sunset community. Our childcare program consists of three classrooms (infant, toddler, and preschool), we are currently looking for experienced and licensed ECE, ECE Infant/Toddler Teachers or ECEA teachers.

Major Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Interact directly with the children to provide quality care.
Assist with the planning and implementation of a consistent child-centered program.
Establish and maintain positive daily communication with families and staff.
Maintain a neat and clean environment, including all activity and program areas, common spaces, and washrooms.
Ensure that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained.
Collaborate with our team to deliver a high-quality program.
Maintain regular attendance, punctuality and be professionally dressed and well groomed.
Qualifications

ECE, ECEA, or Infant/Toddler License required
Experience and passion for creating innovative, play-centered programs.
Current Emergency First Aid & CPR-C Certification is required.
Additional courses/training related to child growth and development an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
