BAKER’S HELPER
Busy Richmond bakery is currently in need of a Baker’s Helper to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality, attention to detail and a strong work ethic to prosper in our fast-paced environment. Creativity and a love for what you do is a must.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform various tasks in production area including general duties involving physical handling of product, materials and supplies such as mixer, commercial oven
• Daily production of baked goods, receiving and rotating of baked product
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment properly in order to perform tasks including cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment
• Communicate with supervisor and follow all instructions, procedures and tasks to ensure all specifications are met.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines to meet company health requirements.
• Work effectively with others and demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as required.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:
• Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds
• Frequent hand coordination, bending pushing, pulling and twisting
• Occasional lifting of between 20-50 lbs including waist level and low level lifts
• Constant standing, walking, gripping, reaching
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certification - Level 1 required
• Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to speak, read and write basic English required.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
• Maintain high quality production standards.

Compensation: $16.00/hr + Benefits
Saturday: 8am – 4:30pm , Sunday:8am – 4:30pm, Monday:1pm -9:30pm, Tuesday:1pm -9:30pm, Wednesday:1pm -9:30pm
