As Assistant Marketplace Account Manager, working closely with the Marketplace Account Manager, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our marketplace account including manage product listings and descriptions, monitor reviews, and increase performance of sales. As a young professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment, this position allows you to learn and contribute your strengths and skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Come up with new strategies and ideas to drive product sales.
• Review reports to determine availability of stock to update or pause listings.
• Update cross-references and new prices for listings.
• Write product description for current and new products and upload photos.
• Manage technical component of listings and ensure 100% uptime.
• Monitor negative reviews and make all possible efforts to increase product star ratings.
• Keep up-to-date with seller trends and mechanics.
• Report on performance and provide plan of execution during regular meeting with executives.
• Resolve all marketplace related issues and form relationship with the Marketplace Account Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES:
• Post-secondary or equivalent education in business, office administration, information technology, or marketing.
• Qualified candidate without direct experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytic platforms an asset.
• Must be fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills to complete job duties.
• Must have a working knowledge of the following: Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret data and make decisions based on the results.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
