Hiring Kitchen and Server Positions
Mogu Fried Chicken @ 1012 Commercial Drive in east Vancouver

We’re a new casual Japanese eatery opening soon (August) on Commercial Drive. We operated a food truck for 7 years and now we’re taking the leap to open a full service restaurant with a liquor license. To start, our hours of operation will be something like 11:30am to 9:00 or 10:00pm, six days a week. The indoor dining capacity is 34 seats but due to COVID19 it will be less than this for now.

For Kitchen
Position Type: Full and part time positions (preferably full time)
Wage: $15 / hour to start, plus tips
Responsibilities: prep, cooking, expediting, cleaning, washing dishes

You are:
-Punctual
-Have a positive attitude
-Detail oriented and take pride in your work
-Work clean
-Team player
-Have a strong interest in Japanese and Asian cuisine
-Experience working in a kitchen is an asset but not required
-Have or willing to get Food Safe Level 1 Certificate

For Servers
Position: Full and part time positions
Wage: $14.60 / hour, plus tips
Responsibilities: bussing, serving, hosting, making drinks, cleaning, washing dishes

-Team player
-Confident communicator
-Have or willing to get Serving It Right Certificate

We are a small restaurant and we are looking for people that are flexible and willing to take on multiple positions and duties. We believe that all staff members contribute to the guests overall experience and therefore tips will be shared by everyone.
