Bennett Land Surveying Ltd. is a mid-sized legal, engineering and topographic survey firm of B.C. Land Surveyors.
Our offices are located in North Vancouver and Surrey. Together with our predecessor firm, we have been active in
British Columbia for over 40 years.
In southwest B.C. we are particularly active in the Lower Mainland, the Sea-to-Sky corridor and Bowen Island.
Our projects range from surveys of individual lots for home owners to some of the most complex residential and
industrial/commercial projects.
We are currently seeking a detail oriented CAD Technician with over 2 years of experience to join our
team at our North Vancouver office. The CAD Technician plays an integral part in the Bennett Land
Surveying team by interpreting accurate data from our field crews and creating a variety of high quality
survey plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and prepare survey drawings and designs using AutoCad for a variety of survey
plans including construction layout, topographic, and legal survey plans
Coordinate legal plans and land titles
Complete calculations and survey computations involving GPS and data processing
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of AutoCad Civil 3D experience
Post-secondary educations in Geomatics or CAD diploma is strongly preferred
Able to perform survey calculations and familiar with GPS systems
Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn new software programs
Demonstrated understanding of basic surveying principles and survey plan requirements
