The new restaurant, Blossom Dim Sum & Grill will be in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. The restaurant offers a Western and Asian collaboration inspired menu serving chef-driven, farm to table cuisine with an emphasis on locally and regionally sourced ingredients in an approachable and comfortable setting. A true neighborhood restaurant that combines classic comfort with vibrant sophistication is looking for YOU to join our team providing great growth and competitive compensation package. Restaurant has 180 seating capacity which 60 of them is the bar seating.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Blossom service associate is to provide our guests with efficient and friendly food and beverage service while following the policies and procedures of the company. The service associates can consistent providing the experience instead of just taking the order and running the food. Working together to create a FUN working place for every associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greeting every external and internal guest with sincere smile.
• Functional knowledge – Passion for food and strives to exceed expectations for service excellence with demonstrated understanding of wine, cocktails, and beer.
• Customer Service Excellence – Exceptional service style, genuinely warm presence, friendly, sincere nature, drive for service excellence, internally proud, outwardly gracious and humble
• Problem solving Adept at juggling multiple needs, calmly, respectfully, creatively and successfully resolve problems, as required. To be the problem solver not problem finder.
• Table service for guests (taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen.)
• Handling guest concerns with the support of the management team.
• Excellent verbal communication

• Ability to maintain sense of urgency and keep momentum
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 years restaurant experience preferred
• Valid working visa
• Food safe Level 1
• Serving it Right Level 1
• Another language is asset
