Full Time Bookkeeper - Real Estate Brokerage / Property Management

Vancouver real estate brokerage with both real estate trading and rental property management businesses is looking for a full-time bookkeeper. We are a small and well established locally owned firm with 20+ staff and 40 agents. The successful candidate will be a dependable, ethical, principle-driven person with high integrity, seeking long term employment and growth within a company.
Minimum Requirement:
- Two years of experience with QuickBooks in real estate or property management a MUST. Do not apply if you do not have this requirement.
- Fluent in English a must (written and oral).
Duties:
- Data entry
- Monthly statements
- Accounts receivable & payable
- Payroll
- Bank reconciliations
- GST
Requirements:
- At least two years' experience in bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in the real estate industry with real estate conveyance and rental property management accounting preferred.
- Organized and meticulous.
- Other languages including Mandarin or Cantonese are added assets.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Full time permanent position.
Extra Bonus:
- Previous experience in managing a team in transitioning from Quickbooks to a cloud-based automated property accounting system will be an extra asset.
- Leadership skills and experience in building consensus within a small group of accounting clerks will be an extra asset.
