SANDWICH MAKER

Busy Vancouver kitchen/bakery is currently in need of a Sandwich Maker to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality, attention to detail and a strong work ethic to prosper in our fast-paced environment. Creativity and a love for what you do is a must.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparing high quality fresh foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fruit.
• Ensuring all finished products meet standards for presentation
• Maintaining proper storage, labeling and rotation of food items
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment properly in order to perform tasks including cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor and follow all instructions, procedures and tasks to ensure all specifications are met.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines to meet company health requirements.
• Work effectively with others and demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
• Kitchen experience an asset but can be trained on the job.
• Food Safety Certification an asset.
• Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
• Maintain high quality production standards.

Full Time position, Day Shift
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00/hr + Benefits
