BAKER’S HELPER
Busy Richmond bakery is currently in need of a Baker’s Helper to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality, attention to detail and a strong work ethic to prosper in our fast-paced environment. Creativity and a love for what you do is a must.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform various tasks in production area including general duties involving physical handling of product, materials and supplies such as mixer, commercial oven
Daily production of baked goods, receiving and rotating of baked product
Ability to operate machinery and equipment properly in order to perform tasks including cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment
Communicate with supervisor and follow all instructions, procedures and tasks to ensure all specifications are met.
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines to meet company health requirements.
Work effectively with others and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clean and organized work area.
Other duties as required.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:
Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds
Frequent hand coordination, bending pushing, pulling and twisting
Occasional lifting of between 20-50 lbs including waist level and low level lifts
Constant standing, walking, gripping, reaching

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Food Safety Certification - Level 1 required
Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
Able to speak, read and write basic English required.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
Maintain high quality production standards.
