A private college located in Downtown Vancouver is looking a marketer focusing on the Japanese market.

The position focuses on managing relationships with local/foreign agents as well as students in order to secure continuous satisfaction. The marketer will also support ESL and Career College students and help resolve academic performance issues.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary on intake days and during other events)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain close relationships with local/overseas agents to ensure that they understand ESL and Career College programs, enrollment procedures and promotions and continue to enroll a steady flow of students
- Build and develop relationship with new agents and/or regions to maintain quotas for Japan
- Take care of student issues on a daily basis (applications, orientation, withdrawal/dismissal, etc.)
- Work in conjunction with various departments/agents in order to make sure students issues are handled properly
- Provide orientation sessions to new students for both our ESL and Career College, and information about students' rights and duties while at school and during their co-op period
- Facilitate information sessions and/or workshops on a variety of topics at agencies and in house
- Maintain timely and accurate student records
- May act as a translator for Japanese students that lack English skills
- Undertakes related duties as assigned, consistent with this position

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Education or other related field
- Minimum one year of experience in a marketing position dealing with international students in an educational setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; knowledge of educational databases an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively with agents and students
- Written and oral fluency in Japanese and English a must, other languages a plus
- Working knowledge of the Japanese education market
- Familiarity with the English language and post-secondary education industries as well as trends in Canada
**Proficiency with using social media platforms for marketing a must
