Senior Sales and Marketing Specialist/Coordinator

This is LSI – a business strategy and process improvement consulting and coaching firm that teaches Toyota Production System (TPS). Described by clients to be “life changing”, we exist to transform organizations and people. Based in Vancouver, BC we are a highly respected firm that specializes in an organizational transformation methodology and approach known as “lean thinking.” Lean thinking and the Toyota Way methodologies are exemplary in their approach to changing and improving the way organizations do business today.

Our clients range from small businesses to large Fortune 500 corporations located throughout the world. An increased demand for our programs and services has led to an opening for a full-time contract position in sales and marketing.

We are seeking a respected and motivated person of high integrity who thrives on making a difference within a supportive team environment. With programs running simultaneously, you are focused, extremely well organized and comfortable handling a variety of projects. This is a full time contract position with a strong potential to become a permanent employee after or even during the contract. Your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the President and managers to organize sales and marketing events, coordinate client enquiries and manage new and existing client requests for new services.
• Assisting with marketing and selling of our programs and services to meet or exceed established targets for growth and developing new client relationships
• creation of proposals of varying complexity
• creation of quotes and delivery of pricing and fees to clients
• Coordinating our social media, marketing and Instagram accounts
• Coordinating operational processes, tasks, and responsibilities related to client development
• Acting as a coordinator between our team and our clients to ensure client service level needs are met and exceeded
• Going out to see, meet and deliver sales presentations with or without the managers
• Answering questions from potential clients about our programs
• General coordination of new clients to ensure that their needs are met
• Traveling may be required to different sites within Vancouver and other locations in Canada or US where our workshops and seminars are being held

Qualifications
• A degree in a business or marketing discipline, with continuing professional development and a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in client development, marketing, sales, and event planning and coordination
• Exemplary interpersonal and professional communication skills
• Outstanding client service skills
• Experience and skill in proposal writing, negotiation and the closing of contracts and proposals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A meticulous attentiveness to detail and accuracy
• Strong computer skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel is essential
• Ability to speak English conversationally
• A cultural sensitivity and knowledge gained through working in Asia or for an Asian company is definitely an asset.
• Knowledge of how to manage social media
• Experience or knowledge with Adobe products would be helpful
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• A motivated, proactive, insightful and creative nature
• Permanent residency or Canadian citizenship
• Valid driver’s license
