Looking for a Resident Manager to assist in on-site management of a Burnaby apartment. Situated between High Gate Shopping Center and Metro Town Shopping Center and close to skytrain, and amenities.

Responsibilities

Enforcement of the Residential Tenancy Act.
Responds to tenant inquiries with exceptional customer service.
Supervises the building, including common areas, to ensure security and safety of all tenants, personell and agents. Oversees the Building Emergency Response Plan and conducts monthly tests of equipment and fire systems.
Administration work, including the rental process for tenants including paper work for the leasing of suites, parking and storage lockers.
Fill out move in/out reports for each resident
Manages building maintenance requirements to the highest standards. This includes being responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas, supervising contractors, logging work performed, and conducting repairs as necessary. Regularly conducts building inspections and makes recommendations for preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

Must be able to live on-site in a two bedroom – no dogs, 2 cats ok.
Understanding of the English language including reading and writing.
Be physically able to carry out all necessary duties. Must be physically able to Lift, push, pull, carry up to 35 lbs
Minimum of 2 years of related experience or post secondary education in related field.
Some experience with maintenance and or repairs.
Presentation and sales skills.
Ability to be flexible and self-motivated and to take initiative.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment where mutual support is essential.
Ability to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
Must be a Resident of Canada or possess the appropriate documentation to legally work in Canada. All documentation must be current.
RMTI certificate a definite asset
Need own hand tools
