Illuminated Technologies is now looking for System Administrator who can also work as a Localization Engineer(Japanese) for our new projects.

As a System Administration on this team, your main responsibilities will include systems administration and systems integration in multiple environments with open source and commercial software systems. To be successful you must possess significant experience and a good understanding of best practices for enhancing network architecture through the implementation of modern networking standards and methodologies. We expect you to have a thorough understanding of data communications principles on Windows and Linux environments, as well as an extensive familiarity of the main data communication protocols. Our ideal candidate would also have experience in scripting for both Unix and Windows environments.

For a Localization Engineer, we are looking for an individual that can read and write Japanese (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji), additionally possessing the ability to communicate fluently in English. This bi-lingual individual must also be comfortable around programming and scripting languages, with the ability to romanise special character sets.

This individual is expected to have rudimentary to excellent understanding of software development, and database design, and participate in a team environment.

This job position must successfully meet the requirement for both System Administration and Localization Engineer.

Qualifications:
knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, Cisco, windows, TCP/IP,UDP,SSH,IPsec is essential
administration and integration experience on LINUX and UNIX environments
understanding of IPSec and SSH
ability to troubleshoot any issue related to Internetworking, LAN networking
familiar and experienced with Windows/Linux shell scripting
MCSE
RHCE
A+
Network+
CNE
CCNA
Additional Linux and Microsoft certification
Education: Computer Science, Networking Program, or equivalent

Must be self motivated with strong organizational skills.
Must have excellent written & verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
Must pay close attention to detail.
Must have good interpersonal skills, including: Teamwork, Respect, Courtesy, Tact and Discretion.
