Kishimoto Japanese Restaurant is currently hiring for the position of server/supervisor.
In this position, you will start off as a server/host and later gain more responsibility as shift supervisor.


SCHEDULE:
must be available Wednesday thru Sunday = 5 shifts per week
between 4:00 pm - 11:30 pm
(shifts are approximately 5 to 7 hours)

WAGES:
$11.50/hour start + tips
will increase to $12~$13 (depending on performance/responsibility)

JOB DUTIES:
Server duties - taking orders & serving food and beverages, set up/clean up, using POS system and handling cash/card transactions, answering the phone, takeout orders, using iPad to organize walk in customers, greeting and seating customers.
Supervisor duties - oversee floor staff and maintaining enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere for customers, assist with training new servers, server duties, basic end of day cashing out

REQUIREMENT:
at least 2 year serving/hosting experience
some form of supervising, management or customer service experience
SIR (serving it right)
English language skill (fluent)
Japanese language skill (any level is preferred)
good leadership and communication skills
quick learner and works well under pressure
approachable and positive attitude


EXTRA:
staff meal provided for each shift
only a few minutes walk from Broadway station
closed Mondays & Tuesday
closed on most holidays
