On Saturday July 8th, The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre will host the Tanabata Festival. Find something interesting and enjoy Bamboo decorating, Japanese folk dance, Water balloons, Ring toss, Fishing & dressing Cotton, etc...
Festival “Tanabata” is based on the legend of the Weaver Princess & the Cowherd Prince. Lovers separated by the Milky Way are allowed to meet just once a year on the 7th day of the 7th month. Don’t miss out on this chance to decorate bamboo branches and carry your wishes!
Come dressed in jinbei or yukata, or get dressed up in one at Nikkei Centre.
