Construction Project Manager
Canadoo Enterprises Inc. - Burnaby, BC

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious junior professional looking to establish a career in a construction industry. We, Canadoo Enterprises Inc., are Vancouver-based general contractor providing quality services in new home, residential and commercial renovation, office and restaurants.
In this role, as a junior project manager, you will oversee the construction projects collaborating with engineers, architects, trade contractors to ensure timely quality services by planning, organizing and controlling projects; supervising trade contractors and personnel. Our ideal candidate must be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key duties
• Plan overall construction projects: new home, residential and commercial renovation, office, and restaurant
• Design resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines
• Arrange vendor and construction material delivery for projects
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and client satisfaction

Knowledge & skills
• Solid knowledge and experience in construction industry is an asset (Not a must)
• Experience in construction project coordinator is an asset
• Ability to possess negotiation and self-management skills
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with customers and sub-contractors
• Quick learner, self-motivated team player with high energy and passion for succeeding
• Flexible with work hours
• Understanding Japanese culture is an asset
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) advanced in Japanese (spoken)
• Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is asset
• BC Driver’s License
