COOK

Urban Sushi & Urban Mongolian Grill at 562 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1W6 is seeking a Cook. This is a full-time, permanent position (35 hours per week) with starting salary of $14.50 per hour.

Job duties include: preparation and stir-frying of meats and vegetables (Mongolian grill style), preparation and cooking of ramen and noodles (both stir-fry, for example, yakisoba/yakiudon and soups, for example, udon), supervise other kitchen staff, keep kitchen clean, enforce FOODSAFE codes and plans, order food and supplies, and prepare staff meals.

Applicants must have several years’ commercial cooking experience, or equivalent combination of cooking certificate and experience. Commercial experience with Asian cooking is an asset (not mandatory). There is no formal education requirement.

Location of employment is downtown Vancouver, at 562 Granville Street.
