Responsibilities will include:

• Using our Global Distribution and web based programs provide travel counseling support for travel within Canada and USA to loyalty cardholders
• Selling air, car, hotel, products in an inbound call centre
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Provide support to callers for navigational questions or inquiries.
• Providing services based on client loyalty program rules and regulations

Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service
• No Travel background is required, however is an asset – full training is provided.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to resolve day to day client concerns while meeting or exceeding expectations and maintaining a high level of customer service
• Organizational and time management skills, effective use of outlook, and excellent internet and keyboarding skills
• Strong team player interacting effectively & professionally with co-workers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual Japanese/English a must
• Call Centre experience an asset
• Able to work Monday to Friday 4:00pm -12:30 am. Ability to work occasional weekend if required.
• Ability to work from a home office environment.

Virtual Worker Requirements:

• Dedicated work space must be within own residence and that follows the ergonomic and safety guidelines for performing duties
• Employee is responsible for supplying their own furniture; desk with lockable drawer or separate lockable file cabinet, chair, document shredder, smoke detector in proximity of work area, and fire extinguisher
• Employee must complete The Home Office Safety and Ergonomics Assessment
• Employee must complete and meet the requirements of the Virtual Worker Checklist
• Employee must complete and meet the requirements of the Virtual Worker Policy and Schedule B “Additional Terms and Conditions for Home Based Workers
• High speed internet capability with at least 01Mbps download/upload speed (no wireless or satellite ISP’s are permitted). Separate internet line aside from your home internet for personal use.
• Must be located in the Greater Vancouver area.
