We are a small, family-run business seeking a part-time barista to assist in our cafe operation.

You will be...

•Preparing hot and cold beverages for our customers, including but not limited to coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.
•Assisting in prepping simple menu items such as an eggwiches, a panini sandwiches, etc.
•Keeping our store clean and tidy (Cleaning/ Mopping/ Wiping)
•Making cash/debit/credit card transactions with our POS system.
•Assisting with other cafe operations when necessary.

The following skills will be considered an asset:

•A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
•Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
•Must be friendly, a team player, demonstrate initiative, and service oriented
•Ability to stand long periods of time
•Must be able to work various shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays.
•Must be able to open or close shifts which start as early as 7:30am and late as 8:00pm
•Food Safe Level 1 Certified.

You must...
•Must have excellent customer service skills in English
•Have 1 - 2 years barista experience working in a cafe.
•Able To work in a fast-pace environment in English.
•Be dependable, punctual, friendly, outgoing, polite, accountable and most importantly honest.
•Have basic kitchen skill and understand basic rules of hygiene, sanitation and safety in food/drink processing

Part-time: 15-20 hours/week (3-4 days). One weekend day availability is required.
Pay: $10.85~ plus tips
